Worth knowing before you join

Four things I would rather you know now than be surprised by later.

This course teaches United States medical billing. The CMS 1500, US payers, US claim rules, and the way American insurance actually behaves. If you work outside the US for a company that bills US claims, that is exactly who this is for. If you bill under another country system, this will not map to your work.
It issues a certificate of completion. It is not a national certification and it is not exam prep for AAPC or AHIMA. Those are separate credentials with their own exams and their own price tags, and I will tell you honestly if that is what you actually need.
The weekly live Q and A runs on Pacific time. Worth checking against your own clock before you count on being in the room.
